This is such a great break down of the filmmaking process. From script to screen it takes you through all of the departments, no matter how mundane they may seem to show you how much work and how many people go into making just one minute of a movie. It's narrated by Producer Rick McCallum, with insights from all of the departments on why they are most important. I really enjoyed the bickering between sound effects and music supervisors on which element you should hear more clearly in which part, and when craft services talked about their Thai themed meal.
I showed this documentary to my AV Production students, one because we are studying documentaries, but two so that these kids who want to be filmmakers in the future can see how many job opportunities there are in a film and how hard these crews work. It works so well for both of those.
