i’m not too involved with the punk rock scene but the documentary seemed to contradict itself so much, they painted a pretty good story proving sid vicious innocence involving nancys murder, but then gave examples of him being violent without cause (attacking people, strangling a cat for absolutely no reason).
the people talking about these incidents then go back to say he was a nice guy, never violent. only a solid twenty- twenty five minutes were used to talk about the question being asked, and even then everyone interviewed said they disliked nancy.
it’s very clear that sid stabbed her when they were extremely high or nancy did it to herself.
the voice overs, over lapped, and the “audio act outs” was okay, so was the imagery. but god the cuts and transition needed better work.
like them or not the sex pistols did pave the way for the punk scene in the uk.
not touching the whole swastika thing.
