Basic, but quite fun, RKO musical with Jack Oakie in the center of schemes. Feels like Oakie was in at least half of the 30s musicals, and he does the hustling gimmick as always. Here stealing songs from a man who only makes music when he sleeps. That's Bob Burns for you, and Milton Berle is the assistant who keeps screwing up. And of course there is a damn in there causing heartache. Ann Miller, being quite stunning. Radio City Revels (1938) was a little tiresome, but it definitely had it's fun moments.
