I appreciate Disney trying to do something different by creating a godmother as the protagonist. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Sometimes it was funny, and sometimes it wasn't.
Jillian Bell plays Eleanor, an aspiring godmother who must fulfill a request in order to reach her goal. When Eleanor descends to the real world to help out Mackenzie (Isla Fisher), it gets tiresome, as real-life humans are confounded by Eleanor's powers and Eleanor's inability to find any other clothes besides the grandiose princess-y gowns which only draws more attention to her.
Overall, it was mainly entertaining and should be fun for kids as well.
