Having now seen this three times I think I can safely say it's the bees knees. Nothing else is this ambivalent. Nothing else holds your hand so loosely. Nothing else feels like it has such a strong message but never tells you what it is. Nothing else feels this confusing while always seeming so sure of itself. Nothing else is so ambiguously comfy, horrific, feminist, anti-feminist, modernist, post-modernist, consumerist, anti-consumerist, etc. Nothing else made its target audience this buttdevastated for having the balls to give them more than they bargained for. Nothing else is this much of an A+. Everything else gets a B- apply yourself.
Truly this is Revelatory stuff, Letterboxd, the Social Network for Film Lovers. It's Lolita for the image-obsessed, post-Epstein internet pornography era. The only question left is why is anime allowed in the database.
