    It’s an hour and a half of Gene Kelly reverence narrated by Stanley Tucci. It doesn’t matter that it’s a generic TV doc, that gets a positive rating!

    Lovely documentary about Gene Kelly's life from the early days at the family dance school, through the musicals up til his death.

    A chance to get to know the man behind the wonderful dance moves and the perfectionism it took to make it seem so effortless.

    Lots of old clips from his popular movies but also talk about the failures.

    A treat for Kelly fans and a great way into his work for those wanting to know what the fuss is all about.

    In Gene Kelly's high school yearbook, he was voted one of the best three male dancers in his class. He was also voted third wittiest, and also the one who thinks he's the wittiest.

    After watching almost every Gene Kelly movie, and reading countless articles and books about the man, that assessment by his classmates in his senior year of high school seems to sum him up more succinctly than any other description I've read. He was a shrewd and smart man who could dance, and had a bit of an ego to go along with his talents.

    This documentary goes into more detail but seems to arrive at a similar conclusion. With the help of Gene's family and colleagues…
