A really great, fun return to Bond after the extremely disappointing Spectre. This one is a little bit *too* ambitious in its attempts to give Daniel Craig a proper sendoff as 007 and the runtime reflects that. It absolutely does not need to be 2 hours and 45 minutes long, but the action setpieces here are thrilling. The supporting cast is a lot better utilized here than they were in Spectre. Waltz shines a lot more here in ten minutes…
"We must kiss the snake on the tongue, if it senses our fear, it will eat us instantly. But if we kiss it without fear, the snake will take us through the garden and out the gate. To our freedom -we must ride this snake. To the end of time."
this is one of the funniest movies i've ever seen. every stupid faux-deep rambling from kilmer as morrison is amazing. you start this movie thinking morrison is the worst person to ever exist and then he gets even more insufferable in every scene after.
needed more kyle maclachlan with long hair wearing white suits though
