    So hypnotic and trippy. Even after reading the description of how Takashi Ito visually created this, I'm still not fully certain how he executed some of the shots. Inspires me to want to try and attempt something similar.

    I especially loved the last section of the film with the monkeys in the cemetery and the meditative shots in the forest. So peaceful.

    A brilliant travelogue full of profound observations that are often quite poetic. There is so much insight and information to absorb about the cultures shown and the changing world that makes it somewhat difficult to keep up with at times, but that is where multiple viewings will come in handy. This is definitely a documentary I’ll be revisiting in the future.
