This was my first Spike Lee joint, what an introduction!
You could tell Spike had something to say and felt strongly about the true story and its painful relevancy even to this day. BlacKkKlansman serves as a reminder to some and a wake up call to others. You could hear a pin drop during that final footage reel and I don't think I even blinked once. It's disgusting what some are capable of.
One of the most important films of the year in my opinion. So powerful and so potent.
