Tarantino, Han Solo are just a few things I love.
Exceptional! James Gunn you sick, twisted bastard! The suicide squad is incredibly film of the year so far and it’s certainly DC’s year so far with two major hits (which very rarely happens).
This film was relentless! It threw you in from the very start and was fast paced from the beginning to the end. It was that fast paced we didn’t even have time for the trailers. James Gunn masterfully creates characters that you actually care about. Something that…
I certainly wasn’t expecting to love this film as much as I did. I’m not entirely sure why I watched it. There was just something about the trailer that appealed to me.
Kevin spacey (the man of many scandals) gives a really outstanding performance here. You really feel for his character. He can be an asshole at times but it just shows how frustrated he is with his life. Then after meeting his daughters very laid back boyfriend, he just…
I generally thought this was going to be one of those horrors that has a great start and intriguing plot but then can’t come to a satisfying conclusion. Story wise , no, it’s probably an underwhelming ending. But if you look deeply into the clear message vivarium gives you’d realise that Yonder is a water downed version of the real world. We live. As Harry Potter films go on the darker it gets and the Prisoner of Azkaban is where it hits its peak. As soon as the dementors swarm the train you know you’re in for a treat. J.K. Rowling’s world expands further in this one with the introduction of the knight bus, the shrieking shack and the whomping willow. Rowling also introduces some fantastic and interesting new characters like Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew and Remus Lupin. I solemnly swear this is a 5 star movie. Especially with an ending scene as iconic as this one.
