For the first 20 minutes of this film, every shot made me feel awestruck, perhaps my awe only subsided because I acclimated to the beauty of the cinematography...it felt like with each scene I was turning the page of a photographic essay book depicting a harsh and bleak life of lighthouse men captured on a Yashica Matt camera.
