Wax, or The Discovery of Television Among the Bees

Wax, or The Discovery of Television Among the Bees ★★★★½

I'm a beekeeper, and beekeepers don't
commit homicide. I'm a beekeeper, and--

I am the widow, I am the first brother of Abel,
a product of the powers of the Tower of Babel,
a temporal mirror of the Bomb, bearer of the X
(the symbol which I will one day be), and pioneer
of the Planet of Television. I have a bee-TV brain,
a soul well aware of the agony of life, and a mind
formed in a reflection by the shattered pieces of
the Dead... I am a poem written in the speech of
my Self. I'm a beekeeper, I have killed and, now,
I'm what I've murdered; the Insect's Retribution.
