A young cinephile lol
One of the most absurd films I’ve ever seen. Like a soviet Terry Gilliam star wars flick
I really liked the gritty production design and costumes (which is kind of steampunk) and the visual effects with the flying box, which looked like a miniature/something a la karel zeman. There was some funny moments too, a dry humor which I liked. Saw it on YouTube (Thank god for Mosfilm’s YouTube-channel!)
Was not expecting to be as creeped out by this as I am but here we are.
Amazing set design, costumes and lighting. Really expressionistic and has some cool acting as well but didn’t expect a story as strong as this one from this first ever horror film. (That’s right, Nosferatu is from 1922!) Glad I’ve finally seen it.
