It's the little things. It always is.

The notion isn't anything new. I don't even know how many times I've heard someone say to focus on the little things, that beauty is in the mundane. I feel like I've practically got it imprinted on my brain, and yet, when Joe lays 22's trinkets on the piano and flips through the tiny moments of his own life as he plays the best song of the film, I couldn't help but be…

    For All Mankind

Okay, Houston, as I stand out here in the wonders of the unknown at Hadley, I realize there's a fundamental truth to our nature:

    Man must explore.

It's almost like a rite of passage, an awakening, a shift in perspective as you gaze up into the night sky, or perhaps at a picture in a textbook, or a massive mural in a museum, and realize your place in the universe—your infinitesimally small, insignificant, unassuming place…

    Lost in Translation

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Sometimes, when the light is right and I'm a little bit lucky, I'll walk out of class into a warm twilight. The cars on Market Street whizz by, their off-white headlights cutting through the dark blue haze. A skater wooshes left, a cyclist rings right. I put my earbuds in, hit shuffle on my favorite playlist, and the world turns into a film. It's a simple thing, but the fortunate happenstance of it all never ceases to bring a smile…
