Matt Simpsun’s review published on Letterboxd:
Very enjoyable! And also one the most depressing, creepy, misguided, yet watchable movies I’ve seen. Lost track of all the red flags in this film about a lonely man who wants to rent children and a wife for Christmas. It’s much more terrifying than you think (in a funny haha way).
Sister girlfriends, rent-an-orphans, flubbed lines with no second takes, and endless pools of drool from my jaw resting on the floor the entire film. Pure gold.
My New Year’s resolution is to watch every Chip Rossetti movie!
