    Dour "we're-breaking-up-no-we're-not-yes-we-are" relationship drama that nobody will care about whether this couple works things out. Both are immature, both are intractable, and neither has the brains to abandon a sinking ship. That means Emmanuelle Béart's prickly performance is wasted in chasing this screenplay's tail as it goes around in circles. She also eats at least 3 lemons like apples, biting through the skin and swallowing them down peel and all. Now that's method!!

    Much more interesting than the movie's content…

    It's quite rare when my opinion about a film changes dramatically upon a revisit. I attribute much of this to usually knowing as little about a film as possible beforehand, thereby limiting any expectations or preconceptions and getting a more pure experience. But that becomes impossible with films in a series - I'm a big Terminator fan so whether I like it or not I already have innate ideas about what should go into a Terminator…
