    The Vast of Night

A whole lot of conversations, but not much action besides the last fifteen minutes.
The characters seemed very interesting (And I think the two main actors are super promising), yet we knew almost nothing about them because they focused so much on the damn noise.
With a little bit more “oomph”, it could have been an amazing take on the alien invasion genre, ‘cause it was certainly eerie, but definitely not spooky enough for my taste.

  • Oldboy

    People around me:
“Eww omg how can you watch Saw, the writors are sick twisted fucks!”
    Me thinking about Park Chan-wooksOldboy:
“You guys know NOTHING.” *Smiling and staring like Oh Dae-su*

“ - Jesus, you sound like Lou.
      - I think Lou has inspiring all of us to reach a little higher. ”

Let’s just say he’s not a people person; he’s a straight up psychopath. He’s a big thinker projecting his objectives to insanity and, somehow, it’s working?!
It’s dedication and craziness: Louis Bloom moving a dead body to have his perfect camera shot to get his dough.
What a great character for Jake Gyllenhaal to play!

    Blade Runner 2049

    This movie is visually impeccable.

It’s not getting that last half star only because even though its artistic direction is stellar, I would’ve liked more story details for a 164 minutes long film.
