At times the best Mark Lester film. Even at its porniest and most absurd with a tacked on romance. Scott Glenn as the hitman who can't be stopped is amazing. Legit one of his best roles ever. John Glover as the manic buddy baddie is always welcome. The violence is sparing, but brutal. As always i love crime tales of people thinking they're smarter than they are and the range of success to failure in their exploits. This is has a lot of interesting "oopies" by all.

No real new thoughts this time around. Beyond how great it would be to see this appropriately adapted in a way that would be constructive and entertaining. I think this is still one of the best stories related to UFO, disclosures and the government agencies games around it. How people interact with bizarre sightings or occurrences. Of course the more sinister side which is clandestine individuals purposely feeding you fake info day and night to see what you do. A…

A pure 90s exploitation masterpiece. A rougues gallery of villains (sans the kidnapped family) versus the strippers and bartenders of Dracula based outta Mexico. I miss this Clooney. Just pure, nasty hard ass. Loads of gloriously ridiculous monsters and vampire attacks. Excellent soundtrack and rivers of blood. But above all that it so confidently plays it straight for as long as it does until dropping the horror shoe in the bar -- perfect. Absolutely perfect. No nodding or foreshadowing. No…

Not quite what I expected. A strangely sweet movie set in the 70s about a 90 year old, washed up rodeo cowboy tasked with bringing his former bosses kid to Texas for varied reasons. Slow and sometimes redundant but becomes a nice buddy picture between Clint, the kid and Macho the rooster. It's also got a great running gag involving literally the worst henchman in history. Clint bein' Clint but in a good way. Also homie is REAL interested in hooking up with hot Mexican MILFs. Like everyone in this movie that meets him is like LEZ DO IT 🀠.

I'll get my one real complaint outta the way: I didn't need this to have as much humor as it did. I get why and it does work as its baked into the characters well... but... coulda also worked good without it. But like I said it's my one real gripe. Otherwise it's a better remake/reboot/sequel than Halloween and a few others in the past few years. Anchored by solid performances, good pacing with some proper reveals and while a…
