This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I may have to revisit other Joon-ho Bong films as I seem to have missed how funny and cynical he can be.
Everyone acts mostly on assumptions. I love how the city detective goes from apparent level-headed audience surrogate to clutching at straws like everyone else. I also love the protagonist's recurring bullshit spiel about how he can 'read people's eyes'.
Funniest to me is when, after one detective's leg is amputated, the camera lingers on his army boots and seemingly invites us to (nostalgically) ponder his now long gone suspect-kicking days. Also, so many jump kicks!
