Wonder Woman 1984 was directed by Patty Jenkins and was released in 2020. The movie stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Robin Wright and many more.
The movie is the sequel to the original Wonder Woman which was released in 2017. This movie is all about Wonder Woman fighting against 2 villains on Earth as she crosses paths with her love, Steve Trevor.
The beginning of this movie was really good, I liked seeing the flashback from Diana’s training preparing to become this super hero, God character. We see the harsh training regime and the way she is treated as more of a soldier than a human during her childhood. However unfortunately after this opening 5-10mins the movie goes drastically down hill and never picks up again. There is little action in this movie and it tries to be a character driven dialogue story, which is not what I was looking for in a Wonder Woman movie, I found the movie boring and had little entertainment, the emotion wasn’t there for me either. I also found the villains to be really cringe and over the top, they didn’t create much for me.
Overall I was disappointed in this movie and would rate it a 1 ⭐️ I found very little to engage me and this is the worst DCEU movie in my opinion.
Coming soon🔜Spider-Man 3🕷
