The Ark is something man was not meant to disturb
A fantastic action adventure from the joint minds of Steven Spielberg & George Lucas that manages to get better & better with each viewing, Spielberg's perfectly crafted masterpiece utilises every single minute of its almost 2 hour running time to deliver set piece after set piece which, under many directors would feel tiring & overstuffed. Harrison Ford was born to play Indy & despite whoever else was considered, I doubt the film would have worked with a different actor. Another reason the film will forever stand the test of time is because it was all shot practically using actual locations or sets without a single pixel of CGI - this includes the famous "exploding/melting head scene at the end"
