Dave Taylor’s review published on Letterboxd:
I was pretty damn intrigued for the first 40 minutes...but then Kat took the whole thing down.
I’m not saying that actor Elizabeth Debicki did anything wrong, but all major plot points involving Kat either created more confusion or rang untrue for the character’s interacting with her.
‘Tenet’ marks both the zenith and nadir of Nolan’s career. I’m impressed that he could take this script to Warner Brothers and get a huge budget for such challenging content, but with zero character development and stakes that are hard to understand, ‘Tenet’ is also the most underwhelming film Nolan has made.
