I actually think this does a better job of the down-to-Earth side of the character than Homecoming does. The action is a bit more convoluted here, but we get less of it. Holland and Zendaya together is the best. Once they finish with the multiverse, I hope we can get ninety minutes of those two going on dates in Italy.

I'd say this is responsible for a third of the top ten MCU action set pieces. That entire bus sequence is certainly on the Mount Rushmore. So excited to track Simu Liu's journey through all this; Marvel always nails the characterization of the ones who'll stick around. I also get Awkwafina now. She's great!

People are also mad about the dragon? So what? Put a dragon in every movie. Put one in Malcolm & Marie, see what I care.

    Best Star Wars movie.

Yesterday was Mother's Day, so I wrote about the look on Marmee's face when she comes home on Christmas morning. But then I watched Little Women for the second day in a row, so I can write about my favorite looks on all their faces.

Jo: The look she has when Beth tells her that the tide is going out and Jo knows it's true, but cannot acknowledge it.
