So this is.....I'm pretty sure everyone's least favorite Jurassic Park movie but thankfully it's only a hour and thirty minutes long. This movie is directed by Joe Johnston and stars Sam Neill, William H. Macy,Téa Leoni,Trevor Morgan and Alessandro Nivola in this movie that...well a ton of bad writing and shitty close up CGI dinosaurs are probably the two things that hold this movie down the most. Oh and maybe the plot holes are also a big reason why this movie failed on so many levels. The characters (Except for Sam Neill's) were unlikeabke and just terribly written...and about 60% of them felt disposable. The CGI was also quite bad and all of the past films looked better then this one...and this one I believe had a bigger budget then the last two films. The pacing was for the most part ok but that's due to the short runtime. I do believe Spielberg should've directed this cause Joe Johnston isn't even close to being as good as him when it comes to directing skills and if Steven would've directed this movie then it might've not been perfect but it would most likely be a solid movie. Also I think we got to see the dinosaurs way too often and yes I know dinosaurs are cool but the first movie managed to balance everything out quite well and I wish this film did that. As you can probably tell, I don't like this movie too much and while I do think it's watchable it's still the weakest film in the franchise and this movie basically killed off the franchise for like a solid fourteen years.
