Danny JP 🏳️🌈 🇪🇺’s review published on Letterboxd:
Come To Daddy is maybe not going to be everyone's taste - it's weird, idiosyncratic, has a very unusual sense of humour, and I personally never, ever knew where it was going from one moment to the next. I loved it, every second, from the opening tracking our hero attempting to drag his suitcase through hilly woodland, to the perfect, simple, profoundly moving final shot. Best not to know anything going in, except to expect something different. Elijah Wood is spectacular (and, despite his oddball character, insanely hot), I laughed out loud many times, winced twice, gasped at least once, and hid my head in cringey embarrassment during a (*very relateable*) phone call.
