The Lost Art of The Slacker Film

Everyone seems to have forgotten about the Slacker Film. A classic era in 90s filmmaking representing the discontent of a generation. Stories about people who go nowhere and do nothing. Also, they try to be clever. Sometimes it works.

I actually miss this as a sub genre of film. Some movies are about slackers, but aren't slacker films. Like Pineapple Express. Every character is a slacker, but they do all sorts of things in the course of the movie so it doesn't really count.

A few I've added are a bit of a stretch. Before Sunset fits less as the sequel than the original but it's part of the whole story. Metropolitan is right on verge but I decided to include it.

I know I'm forgetting some. Which ones?
