Dan’s review published on Letterboxd:
This film was very adjective.
For real though if it weren’t for the casting of Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer and Taika Waititi, I would’ve probably turned it off. Some interesting ideas executed with no depth whatsoever. Did laugh a fair few times though, mostly at Taika - he saved it for me.
First half was a bit of a struggle but the second half saved it. Enjoyed it enough for what it was but probs won’t revisit it.
Serviceable, if a bit forgettable.
