Luke Pauli’s review published on Letterboxd:
As relevant now (maybe more so) than when it was released, Wall. E is a masterpiece. An inhospitable Earth where nothing grows or prospers, covered in the flotsam and jetsam of our consumerism. Human beings gelatinising in their chairs, in front of perennially buzzing screens. This might be looked back upon in future years as a documentary or a Nostradamus-esque prophecy. As well as that, there’s the incredible animation, the tremendous sound design of Ben Burtt, the humour, the romance, but I think the best thing about Wall.E is that me and my son can watch it together and enjoy it, perhaps for different reasons, but enjoy it together none the less. Pixar are gods.
