putting my film degree to good use
I've never been very excited to watch a Texas Chainsaw movie but each time I go into one I feel the like this could be ok. And this movie was exactly that... ok.
'Leatherface' feels like it can't decide if it's a really shitty blockbuster horror movie and a really good straight to DVD movie and I can't decide how I feel about that.
The plot is like a crappy Hills Have Eyes movie but for some reason much grosser? Which I can't believe I'm saying that. Anyways I'm just rambling. It's meh.
Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel are two of the blandest actors ever that basically play the same characters every single movie they're in and I absolutely love them for it. This isn't a negative whatsoever. It's actually more of a comfort in knowing what to expect. So seeing them on screen together is actually pretty nice.
Whether the movie is good or not is another story. 'Safe Haven' is all right. It bounces back and forth from romance to thriller…
