Johnny Sinatra’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is like a PG rated anomalisa with robots. The overall message regarding corporations and their effect on the planet is presented extremely well. The score is phenomenal as usual in Pixar films. And I never really thought I could feel this much emotion for an animated robot. The movie makes you feel so much compassion for Wall E just in the experiences he goes through. We all see ourselves in him a bit. Feeling lost, alone, and these themes in his life are shown throughout the movie in a subtle yet heartwarming and sometimes heartbreaking tone. If I were to rank my three favorite Pixar movies I would without a doubt put this somewhere in there, maybe even at number 1.
