Ghostbusters: Afterlife

Ghostbusters: Afterlife

the machinery of intellectual property and the recent cycle of j.j. abrams-influenced movies will not rest until every copyrighted brand is resurrected, re-booted, re-packaged, and re-sold into oblivion. the death of the original hollywood film is at the hands of this dread necromancy; long-dead actors are conjured via the dark magicks of digital deep-fakery for gratuitous cameos and third-act platitudes, younger performers are never given their shot and instead are scripted to nostalgically yearn for the past-glories of yesteryear. american cinema is a dilapidated graveyard and its ghosts are doomed to never pass on; they have no afterlife.
