Another Round is a simple story of four friends on a loosely academic and perilous journey of experimentation with alcohol. It's a film about love, loss, failure, and resilience. At times this masterpiece is so much fun I couldn't help but smile, and at other times it is so emotional I couldn't help but tear up.

    The Green Knight

    ★★★★½

The Green Knight is a modern cinematic envisioning of the 14th century poem, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. David Lowery wrote and directed this rendition of the story.

Full disclosure: I have not read the original source material, and for that reason I believe my review could be positively impacted by my ignorance. Nonetheless, The Green Knight is a gorgeously crafted film with exquisite visuals and some truly gripping sequences. The story exudes mysticism and surrealism while drenching the screen with striking…
