Ryan Chisholm’s review published on Letterboxd:
I've been thinking a lot about this since watching it a few hours ago, there's a lot going on around mysogyny and trauma, leaving you unsure who to be routing for in the finale.
I'm not completely sure the film can be summed up in a single review but more of an ongoing conversation of how different parts could be interpreted.
But to try and review the film, the first hour is a completely different genre to the second half, which gets pretty disgusting. If you're looking for some thought provoking extremity, it's so surprise why over twenty years since it's release this film is still widely discussed in Horror.
