Glorious. Ham sandwich thesp Price looks to Shakespeare to creatively off his critics. Cast, script and direction are all magnificent and if anything, you notice more of what makes this film so incredible with repeated views. I bought this to show Jnr and she alternated between hiding behind a cushion and howling with laughter. Must also mention the blu ray commentary from the League of Gentlemen. So endearing to hear them speak with such love for it and as Steve Pemberton observes "Wasnt 1973 the greatest year for British horror?"

Masterpiece or massively self indulgent tripe?I've heard both accusations and at risk of sounding like a chin stroker I'm in the former camp.I had to watch it twice to crystallise my verdict.Marvellous cast and anything bearing Charlie Kaufman's name is a must watch in my opinion but this is heavy going indeed in comparison to his previous efforts. At times very funny but ultimately heartbreaking

Most unfairly maligned!Jemaine Clement and Sam Rockwell lured me in and whilst its far from a masterpiece the dialogue in particular charmed me immensely.

Bought in the wake of Davy Jones' demise I found it every bit as daft and cuddlesome as during the repeated views in my misspent Youth. An acquired taste though I'd say.
