As someone who’s had a particularly disturbing relationship with dreams, their subconscious and insomnia their whole life, Come True might be one of the scariest films for me personally. I’m unsure if the imagery in this is culled from some psychological repository of dream meaning, or if there’s some other explanation for why I’ve had almost identical dreams to the main character in this.

I’m talking VERY similar. Same walking through a corridor. Same pillars. Same shadows in the corners,…

Basically just softcore porn with the sex edited out. This was only watchable with my generic bad movie drinking game, which I’ll describe thusly:

Most bad movies have a few connecting strings that can apply across almost all genres. However, it is skewed towards the schlocky, as you’ll definitely get more drinks the closer you adhere towards the drinking criteria which are as follows—

    GENERIC BAD MOVIE DRINKING GAME

Goddammit. Clint is like that kind but deeply racist old man on the street who keeps trying to prove he doesn’t hate you but does it in the most cringey way possible and you’d think he’d have found a way to make a movie that doesn’t blatantly show his still very evident lack of awareness on this fact. But it was very pretty to watch, so there’s that. Shame it was kinda fucking boring.

    Mars Attacks!

I wish I liked this more, but the last time I watched it I was insanely out of my mind on strong hallucinogens and that made the whole experience new and interesting and honestly every other viewing of it pales in comparison so I'm left with the less interesting, less funny, less complex, less off-putting, less unsettling and a stupider version of a movie that I saw but never really saw, and can never really see again.

    This movie though, eh. Ehhhh.

I’m probably in the minority for this opinion but honestly if your goal is photorealism in your animation style, and your setting and world shown is identical in complexity to things we’ve seen in live action sci-fi, WHY WOULD YOU BOTHER ANIMATING IT?! JUST SHOOT THE LIVE ACTION VERSION IF YOU’RE GONNA ANIMATE THE SAME DAMN GUNMETAL GREY SPACE MARINE HOLOGRAM SHIP NONSENSE WEVE SEEN IN THE LAST DECADE OF CRAPPY ALIEN MOVIES

ANYWAY, as for the story itself? I…
