    Was it perfect? Big no

Is it still to fall in love with?
    Fuck yes

I've got to admit i was getting more sceptical the closer the release was drawing. But it was (mostly) unfounded.

Now, I've got a lot of gripes with this movie BUT it also manages to drop more information about Arrakis than the book cares to in it's main part.

God damn it, i wanna warch it again immediately!

How this movie came to be:

"Hey, wanna make a movie in the woods?"
    "Yeah sure, what genre?"
    "Sci-fi"

In all honesty though, this movie manages to hit a sweet spot for me with it's setting, acting, cinematography, music and overall feeling, that not many do. Leaves me craving for more and being perfectly contend with what I got at the same time.

Also, nobody can convince me this isn't supposed to take place in the same universe as the Alien Movies.

What do you do when your country, your friends, your faith and even your family tell you, to do something that you think is wrong? When the whole world tells you that your convictions are wrong?

Well... Most people would likely bend and do it, albeit with a bitter aftertaste in their mouths.

A Hidden Life explores the story of a man that didn't. It's a fascinating exploration of the turmoil that the last year of Franz Jägerstätter's life brought…
