I've been ruminating what to write about this since I watched it. Based only upon my enjoyment of the film, I loved it. I was enthralled from beginning to end, and the story kept me on my toes, I never knew what was coming next.

The second thing that stands out to me is if I'm still thinking of the themes of the film long after it is over. I thought back to many instances that I had with seemingly 'nice men'. When I felt something was off, something was not right but others diminished by claims by saying 'he's a nice man' 'it was nothing' 'he's not usually like this'. It was not the rapists I thought of afterwards but Ryan. The bystanders. The ones who will still protect themselves over helping vulnerable women. And even after he said, 'I was just a kid' he still would not compromise himself to help the police find Cassie.

Thirdly, the stylism of the film. From the soundtrack, to the cinematography, to the casting, everything was so brilliantly done, that I can't wait to see what Emerald Fennell does next. This really, truly impressed me.
