My stars are only for Emma Watson's appearance. That's the only thing worth noting.

Seemed a bit childish with childish acting.

Finally got the chance to see this. I really wanted to see in theaters to see the visuals on the big screen. I certainly read the reviews as they came out and now that I have seen it, I disagree. I felt the general gist among reviews is how it is an imitation of Moon. Yes, they both clones being manipulated by a greater power, but the film itself is completely different. How many film cover the same general concept.…

The epic is enjoyable, except the historical inaccuracies get pretty bad.

    The Place Beyond the Pines

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Initially walking away from the film, my friend and I joked, "well I like the first movie." Initially after the 15 years later, I found it an hour or so too long (I didn't help that I thought my car was going to get towed). Part one was action packed and Gosling has a great performance. It isn't exaggerated, he just does what he can. The robbing scenes and actions with Gosling are raw as he makes mistakes, and the…

What a great performance. I thought this film did a phenomenal job. It told the story in a very natural manner, where the audience is caught not in the entertainment value but realistic relationship and life situations. I really must say I hate women after this one. Gosling tried so hard and did the best with what he had. Women are unexplainable and evil. That is all.

    The Hangover Part III

My brother dragged me to this one. I thought the first two were funny but no masterpiece. I was pleased they did a much better job of actually being humurous instead of inappropriate raunchy jokes unlike the second.

I meant to hit one star but seeing the half star, it just looked right. The film was terrible. I barely made it through it. I usually will find something in a film to appreciate but something worthy was not anywhere to be found. The CGI, which has saved many newer films that have terrible acting etc. was terrible. The whole thing seemed fake. Fake is the best word for this. The Tuskegee Airmen's story is inspiring and this film…

    Saints and Soldiers

Not my favorite war film. The visuals and realism of the guns etc. were good. The characters not the story ever really develops. Things happen, the characters do things and they go from point a to point b. The story was just very weak and the characters appeared to be renditions of previous war film characters. At many moments the film seemed very cliche and I will leave it at that.

    The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Well, in all honesty, I was a bit disappointed in the film. The critics that claim the Hobbit is bloated couldn't have said it better. The Hobbit is one book, however a long one. It is not preferable but makes sense to split it into two films, however three? This isn't another trilogy. I think it is absolutely ridiculous to make the audience wait over a year and half for a single tale to be finished. I absolutely love what…
