Some of my opinions you’ll agree with. Some of them you’ll disagree with. Probably mostly disagree. 🙃🎬🍿
“It's funny how the colors of the real world only seem really real when you viddy them on the screen.”
Most terrifying horror film that isn’t a horror film. The number one problem I had was that there was too much nudity for me. I get the point and why, but it was still too much for me. A lot of parts were just taken too far for a lot of viewers to handle. I loved this film so much though. Not much for me to say because of how strange and complex it is.
Just take my heart. Take it. One of the most emotional films I have ever seen. It was traumatizing and beautiful at the same time. Seita and Setsuko make absolutely amazing characters and can literally own me if they want to. If I say anymore about this film I’ll just end up crying. All I want is for someone to take my heart away from me. I mean it!
Oh...my...god. What the actual hell. Now that's a fantastic film. Not only that, but might be the best play adapted film ever. The production design, the directing, the adapted screenplay, the BEAUTIFUL shots, the ensemble, Olivia Colman, and ANTHONY FRICKING HOPKINS!!! I'm so close to giving this movie a perfect score, but over time I think I'll give it a 10/10. This is the last best picture nominee of 2021 I needed to see and what an absolute phenomenal way to end it.
