“Do you think it’s weird that I hang out with Gary and his friends all the time?”
Loved the slice of life aspect. Smiled the entire time. Just go in and vibe out. There’s ALOT going on here, and some of the best storylines are kinda just left up in the air which was disappointing. However, it is extremely funny and sweet. Not so much the decision to include a character using a stereotypical accent when speaking to Japanese women. Alana Haim and Cooper Hoffman act like they’ve been doing this forever. Whatever it is between them, I feel it’s more so a metaphor for the uncertainty of adulthood. Especially when the adults around you are worse at adulting than a motley crew of 15 year old kids pulling off get-rich quick schemes one after the other.
