I think I've sat through more thinkpieces and reviews bemoaning the fact that these characters don't align with their traditional characterizations than I have minutes of batman fighting superman, and the only conclusion I've come to is, who cares?
Bored with nerds and their need to be pandered to, its so weird that they'll complain about endless reboots, but also complain about attempts at revisionism.
The end is bad, as are all of the attempts at Justice League world building, but everything else is genuinely fun and engaging, unlike the beloved, self important, disingenuous Nolan trilogy. And that Jesse Eisenberg performance....
