The makeup on the creature doesn't look as good as it did in the first film, but there's so much more going on in this movie than that one that it held my interest. The idea of the creature being made up of a demon and Winthrop's daughter was interesting and the way they split them apart was both half-assed yet made perfect sense. I know that I'm probably in the minority, but I liked this one better.
