I've got an almost infinite amount of time for films like this. Same with Zodiac, JFK etc.

Great performances all round, real strong ensemble cast.

I've got a real soft spot for Westerns and this is pretty fun. Does a bit of a "Man of Steel" when the destroy a town to save it.

Two stars deducted because AGAIN Ethan Hawke didn't turn into an actual hawk at any point.

Full of longing, full of dry, dry scenes. The flashes of human emotion elevate the film when it drags, but, like the book, it feels like a film about a robot and not a person. Just one scene of Hannibal fucking his hand/a door would've made this a 4* review.

Interesting look at the violence committed in America in the period from the death of JFK up to 1981. Many awful acts look like small stuff now, but it's a pretty good mondo film.

Stuck this on out of curiousity, so it's my own fault really.

Pros: some of the action scenes are good
Cons: the fuck is going on and why is the pacing so off?

The dub is pretty bad and doesn't match the subtitles 80% of the time (subtitles are good when you have a noisy child)

What a shocker! Really well put toghether thriller with some neat twists along the way! Great central performance from Big James, the film really hinges on him nailing those different personalities. Nice subtle changes between them at times too. Also, the end was VERY GOOD

I'd let Kurt Russell be my dad, no matter what.

Solid sequel, maybe not as tight as the first, but still good fun!

    Love Yondu. Love him forever.

Maybe the saddest documentary I've ever watched.

Absolutely batshit crazy, super violent and every third word is "fuck"

A solid goodbye for Huge Ackman and the character he brought to life. God help the next Wolverine.

Feels like it takes two hours to get to the big end scenes and then it's over in about five minutes. The best of the X-Men films (maybe better than X2, maybe)

Pretty good film! Some good set-pieces, solid jokes and the lovely Mark Strong.

Ricky Gervais in it though. Stinking, absolutely the worst trash.

This must be one of the biggest passion projects ever. It's like reading the little notebooks from the film Se7en. The cast is huge and full of familiar faces. I was almost expecting my Dad to turn up because he's the only cunt not in it.

Oh ya pig. Gives me the same chills as Third Encounter. A more realistic look at first contact.

You could 100% cut big Renner out of the film no bother.
