This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

This is lit. 🎧🎼🎷🚗 A bonus watching Kevin Spacey get run over twice. Xox

A classier watch than movies in a similar category- such as The Circle or Birdbox. Well shot, well acted and despite some pretty cheesy metaphors there are so many ideas stuffed in there- most people will find a moment that captures them intellectually. However, I generally find movies like these so overt and plainly spelled out- all of the themes explored have been captured in other films in far more subtle, clever ways. Having said that it’s a great idea and an enjoyable, perverse watch.

Three amazing performances in a dark, funny and twisted comedy. It’s somewhat unbelievable to me that this lost the Oscar to Greenbook. But that’s fine, this film will outstretch awards and have a long legacy in the film books for sure. An awesome ride from start to finish that explores power, friendship, politics, lust, trust and grief. I’ll be left thinking about this one for a long while. 🐰 🐰 🐰

A beautiful, quiet movie that took my breath away a few times. A story that reflects on the nature of reflection. Frances is my queen, especially in Birkenstocks as a kind but guarded widow who won’t even let a dog get too close to her.
