    Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway

    ★★★½

The greatest cinematic achievement of the 21st century.

Ok, maybe not but damn this movie is pretty good! It’s fun charming afternoon entertainment fluff. Nothing amazing but an enjoyable romp with all of the performances being solid, the best thing James Corden has ever done. A fun story. A couple good chuckles and nice meta humour. With also having a good message there too. What more could you ask for? I don’t think anything Domnhall Gleeson does can be bad.

Glad I chose to see this before in the heights.

Even though I’m very different from Kayla in a lot of ways, gender, origin, and a lot of things, I’m so many personal emotional aspects I relate so much to all of her anxiety’s, stress, awkwardness, stuttering, all of that I relate so much to. I have no idea how Bo Burnham managed to capture youth in the cell phone generation that I grew up in so well but thank you so much Bo. The first time I saw this…

I think better off dead does this style better, this tackles a bit too many styles and there’s not enough consistency, if you want this sort of satirical film done better (with same writer/director and with Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler) watch they came together.

Despite those negatives though, wet hot american summer is a rightful cult classic, it’s funny, it’s unique, it’s creative, and a really good time. I’m officially in the summer mood now.

Such a nice movie man, how could you not love this. Unless you hate dogs in which case why do you hate dogs? I definitely relate most to Lucky.

Nolan has really lost it with tenet I’ve gotta say. The visual effects look like something out of sharkboy and lavagirl and the acting is as wooden as a board. At least Michael Caine eats a burger backwards, that was funny.

    Verdict: skip it.

    Free Guy

    ★★★★½

I really loved Free Guy. It's the closest we may ever get to a grand theft auto movie.

I could definetly see Reynolds getting an Oscar nomination and possibly even winning!

This is by far the best work Shawn Levy has done. It definitely deserves the 3.9 on Letterboxd.

The audience was also really packed which I'm very happy about, I was dying of laughter and so was everybody in the theater.

    I'd definitely recommend free guy!
