    Godzilla

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

They really should’ve given this movie a different title. Then it might not have been as awful as it is.

That is the biggest problem with Godzilla 1998, the monster depicted in the film is not Godzilla. There is so much about this creature that is incorrect. The design is completely different, he doesn’t breathe atomic breathe, he runs away from the military, he gets killed by missiles. The movie should’ve been titled “Zilla” since this is not a Godzilla…

    Lake Placid

I feel like this movie is trying to be Jaws with a crocodile instead of a shark. Unfortunately it fails at doing so.

For starters, none of the characters are good. They’re all either annoying, unlikable, boring or some combination of the three. The film is also way too short at only 1 hour and 22 minutes. With more character development, they could’ve easily added an extra 15 to 20 minutes. The short length also causes the pacing to suffer…

I don't think there's ever been a dinosaur movie as good as Jurassic Park. And it's also my favorite movie directed by Steven Spielberg. The director did an amazing job when making this and I'm very glad he gave us this film. There's just so much to love about it.

Jurassic Park pushed the boundaries of special effects. The CGI in the movie is out of this world, it looks even better than that of a lot of modern films.…

    Crawl

    ★★★★

Throughout the years we’ve been given many shark movies but barley any alligator movies. I’m happy to say that we’ve been given a great one.

With great performances from the two leads, good CGI, intense thrills and impressive atmosphere, Crawl is a very fun creature feature. Plus I really like that they decided to have the alligators just be regular alligators, instead of being mutated or scientifically altered in some way.

All these positives make this one of the most surprisingly good movies of 2019 so far.
