Brae’s review published on Letterboxd:
“The world is twilight”
Nolan is the master. This was far and beyond anything he’s ever attempted, with some absolutely incredible twists that I never once predicted. This is going to have to get watched again so that I can fully appreciate everything that I just saw. The stunts, the cinematography, the script, the acting was all impeccable — this was Nolan on steroids. I feel so lucky to be in the right place in the world to see this so early, and all I can say for those abroad wondering if this is all it’s hyped up to be: it is far more.
Ambitious, stunning, and if your jaw isn’t on the floor during the second half then maybe you weren’t watching close enough. Absolutely do NOT touch your phone during this please, it’s a masterpiece that deserves full attention. I’m stunned.
