James Betsalel’s review published on Letterboxd:
To my endless shame, I really disliked this movie when it came out. What a fool I was! Dare I say its Pixar's most risky, artsy, and imaginative project to date? Conjuring the ghosts of silent films past, it elegantly dances around the silly yet admittedly heavy-handed anti-consumer/technology/ecofriendly messaging, planting itself as what will likely prevail as the film that stands the test of time - the best out of the studio's filmography.
