    Air Force One is a fun movie in the vein of Die Hard, but a strange version of the world to see in January of 2022.

    The US and Russia united against authoritarianism. Kazakhstan with strong loyalists to their regime. An American president young enough to believably fight terrorists. And a fax machine saving the day.

    I had a lot of fun with The King's Man. The "James Bond during WWI" idea was well executed, and the SPECTRE villains were quite fun. It's my favorite in the franchise. Though I would've enjoyed it more, if it weren't for two things.

    The first, and lesser of my complaints is how the movie executes it's historical inaccuracies. By its very premise, it's unsurprisingly that The King's Man takes great liberties with world history. But there is something about…

    One of Die Hard's greatest strengths is how it communicates its details. John McClain and Hans Gruber are so infinitely watchable because of their smarts. And Die Hard gives you all the breadcrumbs you need to follow their logic.

    By drip feeding you the layout of Nakatomi Plaza, the "terrorists'" plans, and McClain's challenges and improved tools; the audience never get confused by what could've been a conveluted mess in a lesser movie.
