Joe’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is the most manipulative movie ive ever watched. Lynch takes you on a cinematic event that ive yet to comprehend. Its going to take me days to take this all in. The overall feel of this movie is just so different from what im accustom too. Naomi Watts kills this role. I adore it so much, she makes you feel so sympathetic even though you really dont need to feel for her and her actions due to them being so cruel and evil. One scene that I’ve really thought of is the scene where naomi’s character is acting in front of people to impress the filmmakers and you feel so exploited its so fucking wild. Lynch makes you take your eyes on a journey through all emotions in life. Love, loss, fear, death. Just a fantastic film and can totally understand the high praise.
